Ten truths from Wicked:

  1. We are never as good or as bad as we seem.
  2. There is always more to the story than meets the eyes.
  3. Don't make yourself or anyone else a scapegoat.
  4. Small kindnesses add up.
  5. Believe in something- especially one another.
  6. Believe in something enough to give all you have for it.
  7. Odd birds often times make the best friends.
  8. Boys may come and go, but true friends are forever.
  9. Love is the only thing that really matters in the end.
  10. Reputation is who others think you are. Character is who you really are.
If in doubt, go see Wicked.

Is this ink permanent?

In an effort to create a venue for writing, a sort of accountability 'to living like a writer', I have decided to enter the world of blogging.

I love blogs- peering into other people's thoughts, ideas and opinions.  Prior to this moment, I never dreamed I would be traveling on this vast highway.  But here, I am!

I ask my students to write to think, to collect the extraordinary ordinariness of their lives.  Their lives and the lives of their readers will be richer for it.  Today, I am hoping this is true.

I guess I could always turn back.

I usually enjoy an adventure so let's ride!
